Christine Firkin: Performer
As an experienced professional in the entertainment industry Christine provide a variety of acting and singing services.
Christine has participated in several Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, twice as Judy in The Fabulous Punch and Judy Show. In 2015 the production a 4 Star review by Ben Walters from the Scotsman. Past favourite roles in Australia included Cora in Calendar Girls; Mrs White in Clue The Musical and Titania in The Dream, an adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
In London Christine trained at Rose Bruford College for a year and attended classes in Character Creation with Penelope Chater. Previous drama training was taken during her years at the University of NSW while she studied for a double degree in Music and Education in which Christine’s major instrument was voice. Drama courses included units with Sandra Bates of the Ensemble Theatre and Egil Kipste of Sydney Theatre Company. (NIDA). She has also studied improvisation with Lyn Pierse.
Currently, Christine is taking classes in Acting for the Screen at the Sydney Actors Association after previous classes at NIDA and The Actors Centre in Covent Garden, London.

Whilst Christine is most at home in Musical Theatre and Cabaret, she loves singing the jazz classics and has training in Classical singing.
Voice was her major instrument in her Bachelor of Music degree from UNSW and she has directed many choirs including a concert series at the Sydney Opera House.
